Measurement screen - details

1      Dosimeter ID:  Unique identification for the dosimeter.  For B3 dosimeters, the Dosimeter ID includes the batch ID and Dosimeter number.  Click in this field and scan the dosimeter barcode into this field, or type a Dosimeter ID.

2      DSM Position (optional):  Dosimeter position. The user can enter the dosimeter position in ‘DSM Position’ (optional).  This would be the location of the dosimeter in the process load.  For a dosimeter placed at the ‘Reference Position’ the technician may enter “Ref”.

3      Tote ID (optional):  The user can optionally enter the tote ID (i.e. carrier number).  This field may also be used in other ways for continuous conveyor type E-beam systems to describe succession of dosimeters (e.g. 1, 2, 3) for your records.

4      Dose (kGy):  Displays the dose calculation for the active dosimeter.

5      Absorbance:  Displays the measured absorbance of the active dosimeter.

6      Thickness:  Displays the thickness of the dosimeter, as configured by the Admin in Batches setup. (See also ‘Edit Thickness’ permission for users.)

7     Replicate(s):  Displays the dosimeter replicate for the current dosimeter measurement.
